Beast of Origins, Barinollusk

Description

Probably the most epic and positively alien of all of the bosses in Legacy of the Sages, the Barinollusk is a powerful beast; an ancient creature from when the earth was young. Barinollusks are seed beasts; creatures born under the concept of creating lesser animals that would evolve and grow and populate the world. Barinollusks are a cross between the deadly Baris; jellyfish-like creatures that parasitically feed off of larger animals; and the monstrous Octoroks; powerful predators that hunt by launching projectiles at their prey.

Barinollusks are huge, and are also deadly. They usually have a squadron of Baris encircling their bodies for protection, while they use their powerful tentacles to feed off of whatever the stomach contents are of their host. When fully grown, they can exit their killed host and bring forth armies of Octoroks into the world, fully capable of spreading widespread damage throughout lakes and rivers.

Abilities:

- As a seed creature, it can spawn either primitive Octoroks and Baris to act as a specialized army and hunting group
- Parasitic in nature at birth, feeds upon the stomach contents of larger creatures; when escaping its host, it retains an aquatic nature and acts as a self-sufficient predator
- Giant, multi-purpose tentacles can grasp prey with suckers or carve them apart with teeth-like expenditures on the tips
- Baris that spawn around the neck of the beast can circle about and act as a shield against attacks; weak against positive electric currents

Sounds like an intresting story. ;)

What would happen if Octoroks started to appear on the rivers here in the Pacific northwest such as the big Willammate River due to a dimension gap thingy?
