Colonial Marine Concept Art

This is just a basic concept of the Colonial Marine of the RUSN plus a concept on what the flag of the RUSN would look like.

Colonial Marines are basically conscripts; not exactly your classical super soldier, but they do have temporary biological enhancements that help boost their performance. While some of their special abilities stay with them throughout their life, such as enhanced muscle mass and stronger bones that are harder to break, their major enhancements; hormonal glands capable of increasing the amount of adrenaline that enters the body, eyesight enhancing hromones that allow for enhanced vision capabilities, and enhanced brain calculating abilities; only last a few years. This is to prevent a marine from defecting and causing mayhem for any extended period of time due to the fact that they almost always need new glands surgically removed and replaced once the old ones dry out. Their body armor is their primary means of advantage due to its high defensive output, its visor that can see on multiple wavelengths, and its tactical computer that allows for almost instant output of whatever the suit sees, hears, or does to a military computer to ensure ultimate tactical efficiency. The gun he's holding is the primary assault rifle used by the Tactical Marines, the appearance inspired by the assault rifle used in Halo.

The flag is basically a bald eagle holding a scroll in one talon and a quiver of arrows in the other (not shown). Behind it is Earth, while the other two planets beneath either wing are Venus and Mars respectively. The stars surrounding it represent the sectors of the RUSN, with a new star added with every sector (the five-point star representing the Terra Sector, which encompases the Sol system, Epsilon Eridani system, and several other systems in close proximity to Earth).
