The Leviathan of the Deep Wade

Since before the Titans came to Terros, the creatures of the sea lurked within the depths of the bosom of Azeran, mighty Elemental Lady of Water. Amongst the many that dared to dwell in the depths of chaos were the Proto-Dragons, powerful creatures that were driven to one instinct; adaptation.

Amongst their descendants were the mighty Leviathans. Though they came well after Azeran's corpse became the oceans of the world, they were amongst the mightiest beings to ever grace the sea. Infused with the magic of the ocean and granted enormous size, they dwell within the powerful currents and the blinding darkness of the Deep Wade, where it is rumored that no sunlight could ever reach the bottom. Leviathans dwell here, forever convinced that the entire ocean is theirs and theirs alone. This drives them to no end when they learned that the Blue Dragonflight, proclaimed guardians of the ocean and of Atlagard, the mighty island in the center of the Wade, had chose to make the depths of the Deep Wade their home. They strive upon their never-ending war against the Blue Dragonflight, convinced that they would soon be victorious. When a Leviathan begins to surface, one will soon learn when to run as the very ocean seems to rise like a mighty mountain as they swim up, and up, and up. Thunder strikes from the sky as they rise from their watery home, and the sea will always run with no mercy as their power breaks free from the currents that bind their home together.
