Crawling...

(Edit) The little specks on this image were buggin' the hell out of me, and I realized that in the bottom part of his image, I forgot to add the rest of his horns, so I fixed it up a little bit.

Alright, this pic needs some explanations. Yes, it's Sinkraloth. It was inspired in part by this pic done by which she made a while back. [link] While I was too lazy to add the whole song on mine, I think the message is still pretty similar...

Right, so I'm kind of like in that my OCs can talk in my head. The difference, of course, is that for the most part the talking is with each other, as that's how I envision scenes in my head for the sake of writing and other things. Recently, however, I've allowed a couple of the biggest (Darin and Sin for example) to have discussions in my head while I'm alone, just so that I can keep myself entertained. I must admit, arguing myself has never been more addicting.

Anyway, Sin and I were in a mood to be depressed, so I pulled up some Linkin Park. When I listened to Crawling, Sin started crying in my head. (He's trying to slice my frontal lobe off with his tail spade even as I type this...he's quite the proud dragon). So, we agreed that since we were going to do some marker stuff anyway we'd draw him being all sad and depressed. It turned into a digital pic, which I'm really proud of how it turned out. Who would have thought that the smudge tool in GIMP could be used that effectively to make fire...

So, that's pretty much it. I hope you enjoy. Given that I've made a ton of Sinkraloth pictures recently, I'm going to give him a break and focus on drawing other things. Maybe I can draw a couple of Firstborn Dragons for him to fight in a later story. I dunno yet. Until then, me out!
